New ZEISS Sigma 360VP with Oxford Instruments UltimMax Infinity at the AO Foundation.

The AO Foundation is a leading global non-profit organisation with the aim of sustainably improving surgical care for trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.

A central pillar of this mission is the AO Research Institute Davos (ARI), which drives innovation in orthopaedics through translational research and development.

Research focus at the ARI:

  • musculoskeletal, spinal and cranio-maxillofacial trauma
  • degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system
  • infections and congenital malformations

In addition, with over 900 educational events per year, the AO offers a large platform for global knowledge exchange and continuing education in healthcare.

We are proud to contribute to the advancement of medical research and patient care with our installation and training of a new ZEISS Sigma 360VP and Oxford Instruments EDX. Many thanks to the team in Davos for their trust and extremely pleasant cooperation!

A big thank you also goes to our service technician André for his great work in Davos. An installation in the mountains at 1,600 metres above sea level is not an everyday occurrence, and we are proud to now be able to support a system in the geographical heart of the Alps.
